Weight Watchers® Health Solutions
Together, We Can Achieve MoreGet Started
Let’s be honest, weight loss is challenging.
We know losing weight is hard for your employees. Our relationship with food is complicated—and it's easy to feel overwhelmed.
Many people believe that the only way to lose weight is to go on a “diet”, they let someone else decide and restrict their food choices and end up feeling frustration and hopelessness. Decades of science back us up- diets are not a long-term solution, lifestyle change is.
That’s why Weight Watchers® is not a diet—it’s a lifestyle.
Hitting your weight loss goal is not about labeling foods as “good” or “bad”, but about making healthier food and activity choices that fit into your life and support your goals. Restrictions don’t last in the real world, and the real world is where we live and where we work. That’s why we are on a mission to change people’s relationship with food, for good.
The Challenges Employers Face
Addressing a Weighted Issue
We understand the weight-related challenges your employees face and the negative impact these issues can have on your organization. However, we can also see the potential for change and weight-loss success in your employees, and can provide a program that offers support and hope. Weight Watchers can be the catalyst to help you reshape your organization.
- Improving productivity
- Attracting, retaining, & maximizing talent
- Managing healthcare costs
- Enhancing quailty of life
Think of obesity as the centerpiece of the hurdles your organization is currently facing.
Obesity is a significant issue in the workforce. Obesity is associated with a significant increase in absenteeism, from 1.1 to 1.7 extra days missed annually compared to those employees with normal weight.
Obesity-attributable absenteeism among American workers costs the nation an estimated $8.65 billion per year.
Employee productivity and absenteeism could be improved with even just a 5% weight loss (Medical Care)2
To positively impact your organization, you have to address weight issues head-on. And to address weight issues, you have support your employees in their efforts with weight management.

Our Scientifically Proven Approach
Our Four Pillars
So, what does it take to change people’s relationship with food? Let’s start by breaking down the four pillars of our program:
loving the smart choices we make about what we eat
drawing upon others for knowledge and encouragement
committing to small changes that can make a big difference
moving in ways that improve our minds, physiques and overall health
We also understand the power of usability.
We combine our 4 pillars within a program that is flexible and convenient, simple to learn and easy to follow.
We Fit Seamlessly Into Our Members’ Lives
Dedicated to Member Engagement
Our effectiveness is about integrating our curriculum into the already busy lives of employees. We know from experience that the more the plan fits into their current lives, the more weight-loss success our members have.
We strive to make it simple to stay on our plan by enhancing member touch points and meeting members wherever they are.
Whether it’s through online and mobile content or actual meetings, Weight Watchers® is always there with something supportive and inspiring messages.
Weight Watchers® Really Works
Decades of Scientific Backing
Our focus is on clinically effective and meaningful weight loss results. Decades of scientific observation and research have shown the efficacy of behavioral change for weight loss, and behavior change is the gold standard treatment for weight management1. Our program is based around these validated behavioral principles, and we have evaluated the delivery of these behavioral skills through Weight Watchers programming, and there’s concrete evidence we work. - We have dozens of clinical studies to our name, and have proven more effective for weight loss than self-directed weight loss attempts, usual care from a primary care physician, and other professionally delivered programs
People attending Weight Watchers meetings and using eTools lost 8x as much weight as those who tried to lose weight on their own.2
After 48 weeks, 3x as many people randomized to attend Weight Watchers meetings lost 10% or more of their body weight than those in a professionally delivered behavioral weight-loss program.3
Overweight and obese participants assigned to Weight Watchers lost more than 2x as much weight as those who received standard primary care alone.4
